Bryan Howcroft

Bryan Howcroft was a student who always enjoyed a good laugh and a new adventure with his classmates. Bryan has grown into a leader and is now working as the Chief Financial Officer and President of Global Sales for Southmedic Inc. in Barrie, one of Canada’s best-managed companies.

Bryan’s academic journey was only just beginning when he waved goodbye to the halls of St. Joseph’s Catholic High School in Barrie. He attended Nipissing University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He went on to obtain his Masters of Business Administration from Laurentian University.

As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Bryan has successfully navigated the world of big business. He has held high-profile jobs with Agfa Healthcare, Sears Canada, Honda of Canada Manufacturing, and Cara Operations Limited. He is now an accomplished executive with global experience in finance, sales, operations, manufacturing, administration, human resources and strategy.

Bryan is a persuasive and tenacious leader. He manages relations with investors, banks, vendors, and customers on a daily basis. “In high school, I learned the importance of treating people as you would like to be treated. This mantra is as true today as it was then, and maybe even more so considering the events of the past few years.”
