Co-founder of Tyger Shark – a leading-edge digital marketing company known for its innovative designs and impressive list of clients.
At a young age, Jimmy Furlano “learned to work hard before learning how to work smart” – a trait that would prove valuable in his career as a successful entrepreneur.
Jimmy entered St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School already sure of his future career in business. Inspired by teacher Mr. Timpano, Jimmy was encouraged to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship – and that’s exactly what he did.
After graduating from high school, Jimmy headed south to Ryerson University where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. He then started his own construction business, Milestone Construction, which he owned and operated for seven years.
In 2012, Jimmy met business partner Tyler Murray and joined Tyger Shark – an already flourishing company. This leading-edge digital marketing company is located in Barrie, Ontario and is making waves for its innovative designs and impressive list of clients. Through hard work and hustle, Tyger Shark has expanded from a team of two to 36 and increased revenue by more than 600% over the past 6 years. Jimmy and the team at Tyger Shark continue to expand into national markets by working with some of the world’s largest brands including Universal Pictures, October’s Very Own Clothing (OVO), and Bell Media (iHeart Radio) to name a few. The team has plans to continue innovating in progressive technology including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and the future of eCommerce.
