Graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts and then completed the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law program – currently an articling student at Torys LLP, one of Canada’s leading business law firms.
During his time at Patrick Fogarty, Winston Gee not only excelled academically, but also strived to make his school community a better place for others. His caring and ambitious nature has carried him into a successful post-secondary education and flourishing career.
After graduating from high school in 2008, Winston attended Harvard University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He then attended the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and completed the combined Juris Doctor/Master of Public Policy (JD/MPP).
Winston was extensively involved in various projects through the International Human Rights Program and the Industrial Accident Victims Group of Ontario during his time at law school. He also assisted in an intervention at the Supreme Court of Canada with the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights. In addition, he won first place in the 2016 Wilson Moot, a national advocacy competition judged by justices of the Supreme Court of Canada and provincial courts of appeal.
With his extensive list of achievements, Winston landed jobs at the Social Research and Demonstration Corporation, the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He is currently an articling student at Torys LLP, one of Canada’s leading business law firms, and sits on the board of directors of the First Generation Network, a professional association for lawyers and law students who are the first in their families to complete post-secondary education.
