Laura Tremblay is an actress, singer and songwriter who has landed roles in television, film and theatre productions like Legally Blonde, and Evil Dead. She has worked with renowned Canadian artist and bassist, Murray Foster, to produce her debut album, and is currently working with Foster on her second album.

From a young age, Laura Tremblay demonstrated her love of singing and performing in local plays, music festivals and competitions. While at St. Theresa’s Catholic High School, Laura took music and drama classes and appeared in high school musicals and theatre plays. It’s no surprise that her career in the arts has taken off and led her to some incredible roles and accomplishments.

After studying dramatic arts at Queen’s University and graduating in 2008, Laura moved to Toronto with her heart set on acting and singing professionally. She landed roles in film and television productions such as Ben-Hur, The Expanse and Fugue. Off-screen, Laura was chosen as the lead female in the highly-acclaimed touring stage production, Evil Dead: The Musical and was also cast in productions such as Legally Blonde: The Musical and Jukebox Hero.

Laura’s success goes beyond film, television and the theatre stage. She is also a talented singer and songwriter. In July of 2016, she released her debut full-length album, Lived it Well, which was produced by Murray Foster, bassist of renowned Canadian band Great Big Sea. After releasing her first solo album with the help of Foster, she will be working alongside him once again in the production of her second album in 2021.
