Sydney Phillips is a licensed attorney currently working as litigation counsel in Olympia, Washington. In her first year of practice she successfully argued a public records case at the Washington State Supreme Court and earned a 9-0 unanimous decision in her favour - an accomplishment that most attorneys never attain.

In order to be a successful lawyer, a person must be hard-working, determined and able to persevere under pressure. There’s no doubt that St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School graduate, Sydney Phillips, embodies these qualities.

After leaving St. Peter’s, Sydney attended Trent University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with Honours. Soon after, she was on her way to Lynchburg, Virginia where she attended the Liberty University School of Law. During her studies, Sydney took on a variety of other roles including Trial Team Advocate, Student Bar Association President, Street Law Volunteer, International Law Society Event Planner, and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team.

Sydney graduated in 2018 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) Law degree and soon after passed the Bar Exam, becoming a licensed attorney in the state of Washington. In her first year of practice, Sydney has already made a name for herself. In 2019, she successfully argued a public records case at the Washington State Supreme Court and earned a 9-0 unanimous decision in her favour - an accomplishment that most attorneys never attain.

Sydney continues her legal career in the United States and is currently working as litigation counsel at Freedom Foundation in Olympia, Washington.
