Adam is a recognized leader in responsible community development and municipal planning and is passionate about shaping the community he cares about.
As the Manager of Planning Services for the Town of Gravenhurst, Adam leads a dedicated team that helps shape one of the communities he cares about so much.
A proud St. Dominic graduate, he excelled as an honour student, peer mentor, and multi-sport athlete. In 2011, he won the Town of Bracebridge’s prestigious Jim Quigley Memorial Award as Athlete of the Year.
Adam studied at the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning, where his co-op placements took him from Toronto’s Bay Street to the City of Edmonton. During this time, Adam found his passion for municipal planning and government and has since worked throughout Ontario in various planning capacities.
Adam is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners. As the Manager of Planning Services in Gravenhurst, he ensures that development and land use proposals follow municipal by-laws, the Official Plan, and all regulations. Committed to continuous learning, he earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario while working full-time.
Adam credits his love of learning and leadership to the mentorship and opportunities he received at St. Dominic.
