Civil engineer, Action Canada Fellow, and civic advocate, Gabrielle Bouchard has spent her career in service of stronger, better-connected communities.
Gabrielle Bouchard believes strong communities are built through service, connection, and showing up for one another — values she traces back to her time at Our Lady of the Bay.
She went on to study civil engineering at McMaster University, where she became involved in outreach programs introducing disadvantaged young Canadians to careers in science and technology. She later served as the inaugural Outreach Officer for the University of Oxford's engineering department, developing programs to help more students access higher education.
Gabrielle has spent her career working in and alongside the public sector, supporting infrastructure projects across Canada. She has held senior roles at the Toronto Transit Commission and Colliers Project Leaders, and now runs her own consulting practice, Gabrielle Bouchard Consulting.
Alongside her professional work, she mentors newcomers to Canada, advocates for children's digital safety, and helps Canadians understand their government through her YouTube channel, Gabby on Government, and her podcast, The Real Influencers of Canada. She is an Action Canada Fellow and serves as Vice Chair of the Action Canada Board of Directors. She is currently completing a Masters of Public Administration in Local Government at Western University.
