Played an integral role establishing COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics for the Orillia community, as the Vice- President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
Learning at a Catholic school prepared Tom well for a life of public service. His values of community and servant leadership were apparent in high school where he served two terms as a Student Trustee, and Executive Director for the Ontario Student Trustees’ Association.
After graduating from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School, Tom went on to earn a BA in Management and Organizational Studies at the University of Western Ontario. He also obtained his designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant. Tom has held progressive leadership roles in the local healthcare system and in 2019, joined Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital as the Vice- President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer. Tom has played an integral role establishing a COVIDovid-19 testing centre, and more recently, a vaccination clinic in Orillia.

Besides being an innovative and inspiring senior healthcare leader, Tom is a proud husband and new father. He also holds his Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt and a certificate in Master Controllership.
