Graduated 2009

Theatrical performer who has appeared in Toronto shows like Spamalot, Hairspray and Anything Goes and recently wrote and performed in his own show, Mr. Bojangles Bar: Memories of a Fictional Bartender.

After suffering from a serious case of shyness, Thomas Finn came into his own as an actor with the help Mrs. Morin, his dramatic arts teacher at Our Lady of the Bay. At his 2009 graduation, Thomas won Our Lady of the Bay’s Multicultural Student of the Year Award as well as the Theatrical Award.

Thomas pursued his love of performing at Sheridan College for the Performing Arts. After one year, he decided he wanted the real “Broadway experience” and happily accepted his invitation to the most prestigious acting school in America – The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (A.A.D.A) in New York City. The A.A.D.A. has churned out the likes of Anne Hathaway, Robert Redford and Grace Kelly.

Since graduating, Thomas has kept busy as a special guest host on Global TVs Entertainment Tonight and performing in Toronto theatre shows like Spamalot, Hairspray and Anything Goes. He also starred in four feature shows with Sandals Resorts in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos – the first of its kind in the Caribbean.

Thomas has most recently performed in his self-written Mr. Bojangles Bar: Memories of a Fictional Bartender at the most prestigious LGBTQ theatre in Toronto – Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Next up, he’ll be performing at Thunder Bay’s famous Magnus Theatre in the British farce Perfect Wedding.

Thomas remembers his time at Our Lady of the Bay Catholic High School as the stepping stone to his career in entertainment.
