St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School

Graduated 2009

Adam is a professional golfer who has returned to his Muskoka roots to share his love of the game. He is currently the General Manager and Director of Golf at a golf club.

Naming Adam Frederick as St. Dominic’s Outstanding Graduate was a hole-in-one kind of decision. At St. Dominic’s he was his class valedictorian. He studied at the University of Guelph and went on to golf competitively for the University of Stirling in Scotland.

He became a professional golfer in 2020.

As a pro, he has had some interesting gigs. He worked at the world renowned Banff Springs Golf Course and for the Professional Golfers’ Association of Canada’s (PGA’s) national office. Adam learned under the instruction of PGA of Canada Professional Ron Webb. Now he has returned to his roots in Muskoka to share his talent and love of golf with newcomers to the sport.

In his role as General Manager and Director of Golf at the South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club, he is creating a fun learning environment for all ages and abilities.

“St. Dominic provided me with a quality education and unmatched opportunities for growth through sports and other extracurricular activities . . . I was provided the confidence and skills to pursue my goals.”
